This site is operated by TinyTask Reference. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

These terms are short on purpose. There is nothing to buy here. No account to create, nothing to sign up for. Most of what usually fills a page like this does not apply.

What this site is

An independent reference about a piece of Windows software. It is not run by the developer of that software, nor endorsed by or affiliated with them. The disclaimer sets that out in full.

What you may do

Read it, use the information, and follow the instructions on your own machine.

You may quote a reasonable extract with a link back. You may not republish whole pages, or copy this site's content onto another one.

The screenshots, diagrams and written pages here are our work. The software they document is not.

Downloads

Files here are copies of software published by its own author. We do not own it. We do not modify it. We do not repackage it.

Each file carries its size and its checksum, so you can confirm it is unaltered before running it. Verifying it is your responsibility. The download page shows how, in one command.

The software's own licence governs what you may do with the program. Our position on that is on the credits page.

What we promise

That we check what we publish, that we correct what we get wrong, and that we say plainly when something has not been verified.

What we do not promise

That the information is complete or free of error. That the site is always available. That any file suits your purpose or runs on your machine. That an instruction here produces the result you want on your setup.

Software behaves differently on different machines. Nothing here can account for yours.

Your responsibility

Automation software does things on your computer, quickly, without asking. You decide what to run and where to run it.

You are responsible for what your macros do. Back up anything that matters before running one. Follow the rules of any game, service or workplace system you use this software with. Several prohibit automation, and the consequence falls on your account.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TinyTask Reference is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site. The same applies to any software described or distributed here. That includes lost data, lost work, lost time, and any consequence of running a macro.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.

Advertising

This site carries advertising, and that is how it is funded. Advertisers have no influence over what is written. Nothing here is sponsored and no placement is for sale.

What advertising collects, and how to change your cookie choice, is set out in the privacy policy.

Ads are selected automatically by the advertising provider. We do not choose individual advertisers and we do not endorse them.

Other sites and other software

Pages here name other software and services where that helps the reader. Naming something is not an endorsement and not a guarantee. Anything you visit or install elsewhere is between you and whoever provides it.

Changes

These terms may change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of United States. Its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
